THE WILDERNESS EXPERIENCE
July 29 - August 1, 2005
Discover your potential to successfully rise to challenges. On this four - day journey you will be presented with many opportunities to grow beyond limitation. During the day we will hike out into the Goblin Valley and Temple Mountain areas in southern Utah. We will explore what it means to work together and you may be given opportunities in realizing and sharpening your leadership abilities.

The day will begin with ìintentfulî meditations. We will accompany the beautiful sunsets with flute, drums and rattles and engage in group discussion and process work around the fire at night.

We will depart Salt Lake City, as a caravan, the morning of July 29th, 2005 and return the afternoon of Monday, August 1st. We are allowed up to 35 individuals, but only 8 vehicles as stated in the rules by Utah State Parks and Recreation so we will also need to carpool. We have accomplished this in the past ñ there seem to be rules wherever we go ñ and it is a wonderful way for everyone involved to get to know everyone else participating!

Tuition for THE WILDERNESS EXPERIENCE is $85.00 which includes your fee for the group site where we will establish our base camp. Showers and bathrooms are available in Goblin Valley State Park.

YOU WILL NEED TO BRING:
Camping gear ( tent, sleeping bag, padding/air mattress, stove, utensils, plates, pots and pans, chair, etc.), toiletries, food for three days, water for three days (3-5 gallons minimum), sunscreen, Gatoraide or something similar to keep your potassium level up and your electrolytes balanced, a cap ñ not an open visor, a few handkerchiefs, a cooler with at least two blocks, not bags, of ice (bagged ice melts too quickly whereas blocks radiating off each other can last 3-4 days), insect repellent, toilet paper, comfortable hiking shoes, clothing for hot days and cool nights, and whatever else you may want to bring.

Sorry, but no alcohol allowed. Also, please leave stereos and CDs at home or in your vehicle. The fewer distractions the better. We are having the experience to be informed by our surroundings, to learn how to listen, and exist in harmony with the environment.

Charlene Wolfe facilitates this experience presented by IMMACULATE PERCEPTIONS. For more information and to register please call Charlene Wolfe at (801) 867-3255 and/or Dorothy McPhie at (801)274-3981. Registration is open until July 15th, 2005, or until the quota for participants is filled.
