THE TINITY OF WELLNESS
“ Breath, Movement and Meditation”

This experience can be presented as three two-hour classes or a one-day workshop intensive.

The first segment focuses on utilizing “breath-work” for balance and health. The importance of proper breathing for oxygenation and internal massage of the organs is stressed. Also discussed, is the support that consistent “breath-work” provides in our process of personal growth. Three different breathing exercises are practiced after discussion of intended benefit and results.

Movement through exercise and/or dance is essential in maintaining flexibility, proper circulation, freedom from inner stagnation, and lightness of being. This segment focuses on the intuitive movement of “Trance Dance.” “Trance Dance” is not about a routine or the appropriate steps. In “Trance Dance” the body is allowed to move to music according to what feels good for it! There is an intuitive component of allowing the body to communicate along with an awareness of how our energy wants the body to move. This is a very freeing experience.

With meditation, we create an inner haven where we experience freedom from the demands and stress of our external environment. If practiced regularly, meditation provides a foundation from which we are better able to rise to the challenges in our lives with an impeccability that is constant. We begin to react less because we choose to respond more frequently instead. During this segment, focus is on the benefits of regular meditation to our energetic system and in our lives. Meditation is practiced.

Integrative Breath Therapy sessions are available upon request. These sessions are 1 1/2 – 2 hours in length. The individual lies down and is coached through different breathing techniques intended to impart a deep experience of cellular and emotional awareness and release. It is different from Passive Rebirthing Modality in that the facilitator works in the individuals energetic system and physically encourages muscles and organs to release stress and tension. A cathartic release is sometimes experienced. *The fee for these sessions is not included in the tuition for the class/workshop experience.
