The word Predator
can illicit images we would rather not see. To entertain
the possibility that we all have, within ourselves, an inner
predator,
is also something we would, often times, rather ignore. The
fact is, the more we ignore this aspect of our being, the
greater it's hold upon us. The Predator is an aspect of ourselves
that
has forgotten it's beginning as light and it's potential
for transformation. It came into being because, at one time
in
our life, or another, we experienced ourselves as prey. Perhaps
we were encouraged to deny our potential, perhaps we lived
in an abusive environment, or, did not feel safe for any
number of other reasons. Whatever the reasons, we developed
an inner
predator to avoid being prey. By the time we are adults,
we simply assume that this aspect is part of our nature,
when
in reality, it is an inverted aspect of our Natural State
of Being. In order to learn how to transform the Societal
and
Global Predator that we see evidenced in our environment,
we must be able to acknowledge, understand, accept and forgive
our own inner predator. "Our Internal Ecology Reflects
Our External Environment."
